ROYAL TAHITIEN is appreciated by the traveler who prefers the intimacy and personal service of a 40-room hotel to the resort atmosphere of a larger hotel. The rooms overlook the manicured lawns and lush tropical gardens (A Swimming pool is expected to be completed by Feb 98).



BEACHCOMBER PARKROYAL is a Polynesian-style resort hotel overlooking a multi-colored lagoon and commands an impressive view of the island of Moorea.  It's 212 air-conditioned rooms and romantic overwater bungalows are all situated within 30 acres of tropical gardens.  Rooms have tea/coffee makers, mini-bars, TV with free video films, hair dryers and private balconies.  Guests are beckoned from their beautiful accommodations by a white sand beach, two swimming pools with poolside bars, two restaurants and a newly-installed golf practice range and putting/pitching greens.

MOOREA:



BALI HAI MOOREA is one of Polynesia's most enchanting vacation spots. Accommodations include bungalow with traditional thatched roofs. Overwater bungalows have plexiglass windows in the floor that let you watch the colorful fish swimming in the lagoon below. Relax in the swimming pool with swim-up bar, work out on the tennis court, shop at the boutique, or visit the Boom Boom Bar.  Free activities: Outrigger canoes, tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, daily snorkeling excursions into the lagoon.



MOOREA VILLAGE offers a friendly casual atmosphere, bordering a lovely white sand beach.  Accommodations are basic, featuring ceiling fan and private bathrooms with showers.  The hotel offers 64 beach and 8 garden bungalows and 12 bungalows with kitchens. Evening entertainment on Wednesday and Saturdays. Free activities: Two tennis courts, swimming pool, mask and snorkel, canoe transfers to the motu for snorkeling.



SOFITEL IA ORA is a traditional Tahitian-style hotel located on Moorea's most beautiful beach. It is the only hotel on Moorea with a view of Tahiti. The 80 fares (bungalows) all have charming Polynesian decor and are situated in a lush tropical garden setting and along the magnificent white sand beach.  The Ia Ora features 110 bungalows, with 10 new deluxe air-conditioned beach and 20 new air-conditioned overwater.   Free activities: Snorkeling equipment, windsurfing, outrigger canoes, tennis, volleyball, glass-bottom boards, Tahitian dance lessons, crab races and pareo demonstrations.

BORA BORA:



HOTEL MAITIRA is a small hotel with bungalows in garden, ocean view or beach front settings.  The beachfront restaurant is the only chinese restaurant on the island.   Arrangements can be made for bicycle or car rentals as well as various lagoon and land excursions. 



SOFITEL MARARA is located along one of the best white sand beaches on Bora Bora.   Its friendly and casual Polynesian atmosphere invites you to unwind and spend endless hours discovering the lagoon's wonders.  The hotel offers 43 garden and beachfront, and 21 overwater bungalows, an overwater restaurant, a bar and a boutique.   It has one of the few swimming pools in Bora Bora.  Free activities: snorkeling equipment, outrigger canoes, tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, lei-making lessons, slide shows, handicraft display.  Evening entertainment of Tahitian songs and dances, fashion shows or Polynesian folk stories.



HOTEL BORA BORA has three sugar-white beaches that are complimented by a lagoon with colorful sealife. The 55 Tahitian-style bungalows and fares are located in tropical gardens, along the beach, and over the lagoon. Each features handtied thatched pandamus roof, overhead fan, stereo sound system, hair dryer, private bar, coffee/tea maker, safe, telephone. A restaurant and bar overlook the lagoon and you can order lunch at the beach bar. Free Activities: Snorkeling equipment and lessons, outrigger paddle canoes, outrigger sailing canoe excursions, tennis, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, billiards, CNN News in guest lounge, library, garden tours, afternoon tea, video movies, slide shows, pareo-tying demonstrations, tamure lessons, basket weaving and flower hei and lei making lessons, folklore dance shows Wednesdays and Sundays.

Budget / Tourist Class: Limited amenities; functional accommodations.

Moderate: Comfortable hotel with adequate/simple rooms and public areas

First Class: Above average hotel offering a variety of facilities and services that will please a majority of travelers..

Deluxe: Outstanding hotel; one of the better hotels in the area; will satisfy most discriminating travelers.
